A great benefit of being a PRSA member is the opportunity for professional development. The Rochester Chapter holds monthly meetings, professional development sessions, and Web seminars on many topics to help public relations professionals in the local area. Sessions include local and national experts on issues facing the field of public relations today, such as:

• Perfecting your pitching
• Building national buzz around commodity products
• Maintaining composure during crisis situations
• Engaging successful strategies in challenging economic times.
