Lisa Ryan directs client and candidate relations for Heyman Associates. She handles a broad range of communication assignments for the firm. Her areas of industry expertise include pharmaceuticals/healthcare, consumer products, financial services, manufacturing and utilities.
An expert on communications issues and trends, Lisa often speaks at professional organization meetings and seminars, including those run by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI). She addresses New York University’s PR Summer Institute annually. She also helps clients develop in-house workshops and seminars.

Lisa brings more than 20 years of experience in recruitment to each search. Before joining Heyman Associates in 1990, she served as an Executive Search Associate with The Cantor Concern, Inc., and as the National Management Recruiter for Nutri/System, Inc. Earlier, she was a nurse recruiter and Assistant Registrar for the College of Allied Health Sciences at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Lisa is an active member of the North Jersey Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and currently sits on their Corporate Development Committee. She chairs the Corporate Table Committee for their Pink Tie Ball, New Jersey’s largest fundraising event.

Lisa graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and theater arts from Susquehanna University.
