Tom Proietti, professor of communications at Monroe Community College and St. John Fisher College
Tom Proietti has probably taught 60% of the people who work in the Rochester media/communication market. For that he is forever grateful and intensely sorry. He founded the Communication/Journalism program at St. John Fisher College in the 1970s then did a similar trick at MCC around 1985 to the present.
Proietti is a former media practitioner. He spent five years as VP of Marketing and Programming at Time Warner Communications. He also worked as a print and electronic media journalist. A PR person, and an advertising account executive. Life is good for Tom.
