Kim McMahon has 10 years experience as a PR professional and nearly 15 years experience in the non-profit world. In 1997 she came to the American Cancer Society, firmly establishing the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Rochester, before becoming a part of the newly formed communication and marketing department in 1999. Since then, she has been involved with large media advocacy campaigns to establish clean indoor air in New York State and urge Congress to allocate more money to cancer research through Celebration on the Hill.
