The Changing Face of PR: Keeping it Relevant

Aedhmar Hynes, CEO, Text 100

Aedhmar Hynes is the Chief Executive Officer of Text 100 International, one of world’s largest independent public relations firms that serves companies that use technology for competitive advantage. Under Aedhmar’s tenure, Text 100 has grown its position as a leader in global communications and is a thought partner for almost 300 clients across the world. She oversees annual revenues of $60m, a staff of over 500, and 30 offices spanning North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe. Aedhmar is based in New York City and works directly with many of the company’s key accounts such as IBM, Xerox, Philips, and Fujifilm. She recently oversaw Text 100’s entry into Second Life, making it the first global PR firm to establish a presence inside the rapidly growing virtual world. Aedhmar is also an active speaker and commentator on the subject of global communications and the complexity of cultural fluency when communicating across multiple markets and audiences.

Aedhmar has worked in the public relations industry for over eighteen years, sixteen of which have been with Text 100. Throughout her career she has worked exclusively with technology companies consulting on behalf of both large corporations as well as small start up companies. Aedhmar works closely with client executives coaching them on their company’s reputation as a key driver of stakeholder value, customer loyalty and brand management. She is a board member of the Council of PR Firms, a member of the Aspen Institute Roundtable on technology, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arthur W. Page Society, and sits on the Foundation Board of her Alma Mater, The National University of Ireland - Galway.
