Mark Blanchard

Mark Blanchard is a Toronto-based television producer with Global National, the Canadian equivalent of NBC Nightly News. He is also a freelance print journalist, contributing stories to Canada’s largest-circulation national daily newspaper.

He has worked for several television networks on both sides of the border, including CNN, CNN International, CTV and CBC, as a news writer, producer and correspondent. He has also written for several U.S. and Canadian newspapers, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Washington Times and the Globe and Mail.

But Mark’s experience extends beyond covering hard news. He has written about technology and telecommunications for a variety of publications, including America’s Network, a U.S. telecom trade magazine.

As a former communications consultant, he has worked on behalf of Compaq Canada, Intel of Canada, eBay Canada and other technology companies, performing a variety of services from generating media coverage to corporate copywriting and media training senior executives.
